Celebrating our Young Hunters! 

"Thank you, St Croix Valley Drones! My son and I were hunting a buck we called Bully, as every time we saw him he was chasing off every deer out of the plot. On that early October evening, my son made a great shot on this buck.  To our surprise, the blood was very scarce and then it just stopped. I was able to find half the arrow which means we didn't get a pass through (which could explain the lack of blood). We backed out, waited several hours and then picked up the trail again. We found a few more blood drops a little ways past where we found the arrow. As a father who has hunted for years, I had to prepare my son for the worst that we might not recover this deer or have to wait till buzzards were flying overhead. I remember a buddy telling me about this flyer he saw about a drone recovery for deer. Thank God for Google, as I was able to text Jim at 3:30 in the morning and he texted me right back. We talked about details of the hunt and the shot placement and what we had done up till then. Within an hour and half, Jim met us at our hunting land and was able to find our deer within 15 minutes. That deer ran 175 yards and rolled down a ridge with a high double lung shot! The perseverance and heart of a whitetail deer will never cease to amaze me. Thanks, Jim, for saving my kids hunt!
